I Love the Fall...

I love the fall...It is a season of change and it happens with such beauty. When we lived in Cloudcroft, NM - Fall was amazing. On more than one occasion I had to pull over when driving down the mountain just to stop and take it all in. The contrast of the autumn leaves and the bare silver white branches of the aspens nestled next to the deep green pines, with the sun setting off in the distance over White Sands Missile Range, was honestly breathtaking.
Seasons of change can be breath taking for varied reasons... some of them aren't so picture perfect. Some changes leave you feeling like a barren frost bitten branch and yet even then, good things are just around the corner... new growth starts to bud and signs of new life unfold almost before your eyes... sometimes you have to just be looking a bit harder to see it.. but it's there... and it is as it should be. Change is good... (Well that is about as profound as I can get at this moment... sweet dreams!)
